Successful Opportunities
Volunteering
One of the best ways for our PEAKsters to learn is from his or her peers. Because of this we are building a PEAK Counselor Program. Any student ages 8 and older is welcome to enroll. Formal Counselor Workshops are being developed but any student wanting to volunteer as a PEAK Counselor before attending the workshop will receive a brief overview of what is expected of them as well as what they can expect from our PEAKsters.
PEAK is looking for Counselors who are interested in:
• playing right along side our PEAKsters
• modeling appropriate behaviors/physical activities
• assisting the instructor as needed
• becoming small group instructors
We accept Counselors throughout the year for many of our programs and activities. Please fill out a PEAK Counselor Form and return it to the address listed on the form if you are interested in becoming a Counselor.
