Type of Membership

The continued growth of PEAK depends on several factors, one of which being the strength of it’s membership. Membership is free for both Associate and Active members.

Who qualifies as an Associate Member?

Any individual seeking membership who sends a registration email to: vanessa@peakgroup.org (please put “requesting membership” in the subject area) shall be considered an associate member pending the approval of the executive board.
Associate members can only vote on events which were approved by executive board.

Who qualifies as an Active Member?

Any individual who has registered as an Associate member and has also participated in (or plans to participate in) a combined total of 7 PEAK activities within a 12 month period. Activities include, but are not limited to: monthly meeting attendance, program or activity coordination, becoming a PEAK instructor/assistant, etc.
Active membership will be reviewed on a monthly basis and privileges revoked if the member is no longer working toward meeting the Active Member requirements. If revoked at the end of the 12 month period, then the member would have to reapply for Active membership and meet the same requirements mentioned above.
Once approved, Active Members have unrestricted voting rights.
All executive board members are automatically considered Active Members.
